School choirs and real reindeer were among the attractions as a garden centre staged a charity festive fundraiser.
A host of seasonal activities took place at New Coley Nurseries in Trough Lane, Denholme.
Over £1,380 was raised for Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, Manorlands.
Santa’s grotto proved hugely popular, and choirs from Parkside and Lees schools performed.
There were also fairground rides for young children, and visitors were able to enjoy roast chestnuts.
“We were really pleased with how things went,” said Rachel Knowles.
“It was busy – people were queuing for the grotto, but they said it was well worth the wait.”
Santa will be at the nurseries again this weekend, and miniature ponies from Pat a Pony will also be there.
