A woman is believed to have been injured after her moped was involved in a crash with a car in a suspected hit-and-run in Bradford this evening.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Leeds Road, near its junction with Seymour Street, at about 5.20pm.
A police spokesman said the car involved - thought to be a blue Vauxhall Astra - had “made off” from the scene.
He added that Leeds Road was closed between Shipley Airedale Road and Seymour Street.
A Yorkshire Ambulance spokesman said a fast response vehicle and an ambulance had attended and one casualty had been taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
