Burglars across the Bradford district are receiving a festive warning in the form of a hand-delivered Christmas card from police.
Officers from Operation Viper were launching the Bradford arm of the initiative today, with police set to visit targeted known burglars with their seasonal message.
The unique cards are being delivered by officers as part of Operation Viper – a major initiative to target the county’s most prolific criminals.
Each card carries the image of police bursting through the door of a suspected criminal’s home with the accompanying message that “if you commit a burglary this Xmas, remember we don't come down the chimney.” The initiative forms part of a week of action by Viper officers to target known burglary offenders and warn them not to be tempted into crime over the festive season and that police are watching them.
