The Specsavers store in Darley Street has raised nearly £600 for the charity of the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain.
The money was collected during an event for Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure, which provides disabled people with sporting opportunities.
Store director Pete Rooke said: “Staff from the Specsavers Darley Street store, along with Thackley Football Club, took part in a fundraiser sports day to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s charity. Our staff organised a five-a-side football tournament, tombola, book stall, bouncy castle and karaoke competition.”
