Businesses and individuals are being urged to give one last push of support for a charity celebrating its 25th year before the end of 2013.
Cancer Support Bradford & Airedale’s Christmas appeal asks people to think of the needs of others at this traditional time of giving. Donating to the charity in lieu of Christmas cards or in memory of a loved one are just some of the ways people can get involved.
Christmas appeal fundraiser Hayley Collis said: “The gift of a donation at Christmas will help make a lasting difference to members of our community and may one day help somebody close to you.”
The fundraising drive is the final major event in the charity’s Silver Jubilee calendar.
Donations can be made at justgiving.com/bradfordcancersupport or by texting CSBA25 £5 to 70070. The charity’s website also explains how to make a donation.
