Bob Geldof will be appearing at next year’s Grassington Festival, it has been announced.
The Boomtown Rats, fronted by Geldof, will bring a taste of punk and fury to the Marquee, getting everyone up and stomping to hits like Rat Trap and Mondays.
Other acts announced include Only Men Aloud, with special guest Laura Wright, and Heather Small, taking to the stage for the last night party with a mix of solo tracks and M People hits such as Proud and Moving on Up.
Festival director Kate Beard says: “The festival team is looking forward to building on our success last year and bringing another 15-day extravaganza to the Yorkshire Dales.”
