Squeeze frontman and songwriter Glenn Tilbrook will be taking to the stage in Bingley next week With his writing partner Chris Difford, Glenn was responsible for Squeeze hits such as Tempted, Cool For Cats and Up The Junction.
Since an acrimonious split in 1998, the band has been on the backburner and although you might forgive Glenn for resting on his laurels after 13 albums and countless tours, he continues to write and perform.
With his two solo albums, The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook and Transatlantic Ping-Pong, he proved he has lost none of the joie-de-vivre of Squeeze.
He and Chris Difford performed several low-key gigs together in 2007, and in 2008 they received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
Glenn Tilbrook will be at Bingley Arts Centre on Wednesday, December 11.
