Police are expected later today to identify a woman whose body has been found in the River Aire.
The discovery was made yesterday at about 1.35pm close to Leeds train station.
It is understood the body could be that of missing Bradford mum Seemberjeet Kaur, 35, who disappeared from her home in East Bowling on Wednesday, October 23.
There had been no positive sightings of the married mother since about 1pm that day, when she was captured on CCTV on the canal towpath near Roberts Park, Saltaire.
Mrs Kaur had taken a taxi to Salts Mill from her home.
Police underwater teams have been carrying out searches along the canal and the River Aire from Saltaire towards Leeds, as well as scouring the park, woods, gardens and outhouses.
Mrs Kaur who had been taking medication for depression, failed to collect her daughter from nursery school and police said they were particularly concerned because she was suffering from anxiety and depression.
