Patients who use Airedale Hospital’s orthotic service are invited to help develop a new range of footwear.
People can have their say at an open day on Wednesday, December 11, staged by the orthotics team and Peacocks Medical Group.
Paul Scott, business development manager for Peacocks, said: “We often hear from patients how they are tired of the limited footwear available and our aim is to give them more choice and design a range that meets their needs.
"The beauty of having our own range, instead of ordering someone else’s product, is we will have more control of the process.”
Elaine Coope, mobility service manager at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We would really value feedback and ideas.”
The open day is being held in the doctor’s lounge at Airedale Hospital’s education centre, between 10.30am and 3pm. Refreshments will be available.
