The final touches are being put to a Christmas concert which will be held at Yeadon Town Hall.
Members of Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society are busy getting ready for the annual one night event on Friday, December 13.
The concert will feature traditional carols sung by the choir and accompanied by Otley Brass Band, with some lesser known songs performed by a range of soloists.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be served on arrival and in the interval to help get the audience in a festive mood.
The choir from Queensway Primary School will perform at the event for the first times, with readings, carols and up-beat Christmas songs.
Musical director Pamela Beck said: “The programme is so varied and there really is something for everyone. It will appeal to all ages.
"The pupils from Queensway have also added another dimension – it is always wonderful to see children’s retelling of the Christmas story.
"The band, of course, is the icing on the cake – audiences literally will be able to ‘swing’ into Christmas.”
The performance starts at 7.30pm and refreshments are available from 7pm. Call 0113 250 5587 or 0113 250 3032 for tickets.
