People can wish their friends and family a wonderful start to the New Year with a goodwill message on the big screen in Bradford’s City Park.
The screen will display short video messages – which can also be directed at Bradford or the rest of the world – over the Christmas period and throughout January.
David Wilson, director of Bradford City of Film, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to wish those nearest and dearest to them a wonderful start to the New Year.
"With the screen being in City Park – where thousands of people pass every day – it’s a chance to surprise someone you know with a message that will bring them some New Year cheer.”
The messages must be no longer than ten seconds and can be filmed on a mobile phone, tablet or camera. The content of the messages must be family-friendly.
A spokesman said: “We will endeavour to show as many clips as we can over Christmas and into the New Year.”
E-mail your message clip to submit@bigscreenbradford.com and marked on the subject line ‘New Year Message’. For full terms and conditions visit bradford-city-of-film.co.uk/big screen.
City of Film and Bradford Council, with support from the Digital Working Academy at the University of Bradford, have teamed up to provide a new programme of events and content for the big screen in City Park.
