A Keighley accounts manager has had a close shave – for the first time in nearly 40 years!

Duncan Smith shed his moustache and beard in support of colleagues who grew facial hair as part of the Movember charity fundraiser.

Mr Smith, of accountancy firm Clough & Company, raised almost £1,000. His efforts combined with those of his Movember colleagues have coined in over £2,600.

Mr Smith said: “This was my way of participating in Movember, but I never expected it to generate so much support.

“I was apprehensive because I’d had the beard and moustache for such a long time.”
