A 23-year-old Skipton man has been given a 12-month suspended prison sentence after admitting dangerous driving.
James Boyd was ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work, given a two-month curfew and banned from driving for two years by a judge at Bradford Crown Court.
Boyd, of Willow Way, admitted dangerous driving on the A59 between Elslack and Broughton on March 17 when he appeared at Skipton Magistrates’ Court last month, but was sentenced at the crown court after magistrates decided their sentencing powers were not great enough.
