Mickey Mouse and Peppa Pig helped turn on Otley Christmas lights last night.
They were joined by Otley’s carnival queen Katelyn May and town mayor Councillor Pamela Gill.
More than 500 people enjoyed the event, which included performances from Otley All Saints Primary School choir, Otley Brass Band, and The Big Hoo-Ha Company, of Otley, which showcased a children’s choir and rock band, an A cappella choir and a ukelele group. There was also a fireworks display.
A spokesman for the event said: “I hope it was a big success for Otley.”
At the event are Holly Cockerham and Kittie Quinn joining Ashley Ferrari for some street entertainment.
