Brighouse was buzzing for its Victorian Christmas Festival weekend with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert lookalikes officially opening the proceedings on Saturday.
About 100,000 people visited the town’s 1940s weekend in June but this weekend’s event was “truly memorable”, said Steven Lord of Brighouse Business Initiative.
“People really enjoyed seeing the town so busy in summer and demanded more! The whole town has really been buzzing, and that’s what we were aiming for.”
