An MP joined forces with the National Aids Trust to raise awareness of the condition during World Aids Day today.
David Ward, Liberal Democrat MP for Bradford East, said he wanted to show a commitment to tackling HIV in the city and improve public understanding of the condition.
He said: “With around 350 people in Bradford and 100,000 people living with HIV in the UK, we must do more to improve HIV prevention and testing.”
Two Twitter hashtags, #RibbonUp and #FactUp, are being used across the UK to educate people about five key facts related to the condition.
