Police set up a cordon around the scene of an assault which took place in Bradford city centre this afternoon.
A man was taken to hospital with suspected neck and chest injuries following an assault in Sunbridge Road, just before 3.30pm.
A police spokesman said: “We attended Sunbridge Road after receiving a report of an assault.
“The victim suffered suspected neck and chest injuries. Paramedics put him on a spinal board and he was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“He has no visible injuries and it is not thought he has been seriously hurt. There is no suggestion of a weapon being used.
“There have been no arrests and we are in the very early stages of the investigation.”
