An appeal to help a little boy to walk is being supported by Year 10 pupils from St Mary’s in Menston. Wesley’s Wish has been adopted by year 10 students as their charity of the year for 2014. The appeal has been set up by the family of Guiseley boy Wesley Knight, who suffered brain damage shortley after birth. His parents, Tim and Catherine want to take him to America for a pioneering neurosurgical procedure which they hope will enable him to walk.
