Vandals who daubed dog mess on children’s play equipment in Long Lee have been branded “sick-minded” by a councillor.

Steve Pullen described the attack at the playground between Spring Avenue and Royd House Road as “mind-boggling”.

Coun Pullen, who represents Keighley East Ward on Bradford Council, said: “Someone must have a sick mind to do that to a children’s playground.”

Bradford Council acted swiftly when it received reports of the mess on the swings and slide.

Workers were immediately dispatched to clean the equipment and Council wardens were drafted into patrol the play area.
