The 3,000 health and social workers across the Bradford district have been encouraged to get a winter flu injection.
Bradford Council’s Chief Executive Tony Reeves (pictured) made the plea as a way of protecting vulnerable people.
All frontline workers in Bradford who work in care homes or visit people in their own homes are receiving free vouchers for the vaccination, marking the first time the Council has offered free vaccines for both Council and private care staff. The scheme also includes children’s centre staff and those working with vulnerable children.
