Twenty members of staff at Bradford Teaching Hospitals are sporting new moustaches for charity.
The doctors, who all work in surgical orthopaedics, are taking part in Movember – an annual event encouraging moustaches during November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives.
Orthopaedic registrar Ben Haughton said: “This is the first time our team has taken up this charity challenge and it is proving quite a talking point not just among staff but also with our patients during ward rounds at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.”
“We'd hoped to raise £1,000 but it looks like this total will be far surpassed given it currently stands at £1,345 and Movember isn’t over yet.”
