A roadshow visited Keighley as part of a campaign to attract governors to Bradford District Care Trust.
Chairman Mike Smith and medical director Dr Andy McElligott outlined the work of the trust and the challenges it faced as a provider of NHS care, at the Central Hall event.
The organisation is due to become a foundation trust next year.
