A Keighley couple turned to pedal power to raise money for Manorlands hospice.
Lee and Kate Orviss cycled nearly 400km across Tanzania to coin in cash through sponsorship for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
The couple completed the week-long challenge despite Kate suffering a fall on the first day, injuring her arm and tendons in her shoulder.
“It was – without question – the hardest thing we've done,” she said.
“Thank you so much to those who have donated. Your support means a lot and really kept us going.”
They had aimed to raise £500 but are on track to double that.
Regional fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson said: “We’re very grateful to Lee and Kate.
“The amount they have raised is enough to fund a community nurse specialist to visit patients in the local community in their own homes for a week.”
