Competitors in this year's Straw Race
A total of £10,425 has been given to 15 different good causes at a presentation evening in Keighley.
The organisations have all benefited from this year’s popular Oxenhope Straw Race.
They received their donations at an event at Keighley Rugby Union Football Club on Monday night.
Straw race secretary Jane Barrett said: “Our committee had a wonderful evening, and we also presented certificates to teams who raised over £100 in sponsorship.”
Jane also thanked Keighley Scout Service Team, Cobbydale Network and Cullingworth Scouts who all helped out on the race day.
This year’s straw race was the 38th and it has raised more than £350,000 for local groups. This year’s event featured 230 teams.
