People looking to get in the festive spirit can still sign up to the annual Reindeer Stampede in Saltaire.
The family fun run will support Epilepsy Action, which helps the 50,000 people affected by epilepsy across Yorkshire.
The event, on Sunday, December 8, will take hundreds of ‘reindeer’ around a circular 5k route in Roberts Park.
It is open to anyone aged over eight, and runners will be encouraged to don reindeer antlers. Children under eight can take part in a mini route.
Carl Foster, fundraising events officer at Epilepsy Action, said: “Participants can run, walk or jog the course and any little reindeers in the family can take on their own shorter version of the course.”
Registration starts at 9am, for the 10am run, and entry is £12 for adults and £6 for children under 15. The children’s fun run costs £2.50.
There are also volunteering opportunities for those who do not want to run.
