A revamped post office was officially opened by a Bradford MP yesterday.
Bradford South’s Gerry Sutcliffe cut the ribbon to open Wyke post office.
He said: “The Post Office is vital to the community in Wyke and I’m sure the improved office and longer opening hours on Saturday afternoons will be warmly welcomed.”
Owner Mrs Tanweer Begum Sadiq said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to modernise the branch.” It now has three serving positions – two traditional screened counter positions and a serving point at the retail counter, a new concept for delivering Post Office products.
