A shop has opened inside Keighley Campus Leeds City College to help prepare students for the world of work.
Worth Valley ward councillor Russell Brown launched the outlet, which is in the atrium of the Bradford Road building.
The shop will be run by students from the foundation learning programme and sells stationery items, as well as themed goods made by students.
After opening the shop, Coun Brown was given a tour of the campus and treated to a lunch cooked by students in KCs Café – another venture the campus runs for foundation learners.
A college spokesman said: “The purpose of both the shop and cafe are to provide supported employment opportunities and prepare the students for real work environments.”
