Two men, including one from Bradford, have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation that led to the earlier arrest of methodist minister Paul Flowers following newspaper allegations of drug offences.
A 26 year-old man was arrested at an address in Thornton, Bradford, and a 34 year-old detained at an address in Armley, Leeds.
The men are being questioned at separate West Yorkshire Police Stations. Police said they were being quizzed in connection with alleged drug supply.
The Rev Flowers was arrested in connection with the same investigation on November 21 in the Liverpool area.
Flowers, an ex-councillor and methodist minister in Bradford and former chairman of the Co-operative Bank, was released on bail on November 22 after he spent the day being questioned at a Leeds police station accused of buying and selling illegal drugs.
