A man has been arrested after police received a call for assistance from probation service offices in Bradford city centre.
Three police cars and a police van were scrambled to West Yorkshire Probation Service's office in Cheapside following the call, which came at about 1.45am yesterday.
A number of onlookers, including shoppers and city centre workers, watched from across the street as a man was led away by officers.
A police spokesman said they had arrested a 24-year-old man who was wanted on recall to prison.
