Two young dancers have landed scholarships for the British Ballet Organisation.
Anyah Morgan, ten, of Thornton and Ellie Berthebaud, 12, of Wilsden, attended an audition at the Royal Ballet in Birmingham and were competing with around 200 others.
“To even succeed an audition with the British Ballet Organisation they needed the highest pass mark in Grade Four ballet,” said Anyah’s mother, Lynda Morgan.
“This achievement has taken years of dedication to dance. Ballet is their first choice although they practise and study theories of other dance styles such as tap, jazz and modern.”
The youngsters attend Bradford Theatre Arts at Daisy Hill.
