Bradford Bulls’ players visited a Bradford primary school to celebrate the opening of its new library.
Teachers at Reevy Hill Primary School, Buttershaw, have spent the last 12 months improving the library.
Head teacher Jo Bradley said: “There has been a re-organisation of the library and a junior librarian installed which has created an engaging online library for the children, staff and parents. Year five and six pupils have had the opportunity to become ‘reading buddies’ and listen to younger children read.
“To celebrate the opening of our new library the children have dressed up as book characters and they have also being involved in drama workshops with author Alex Fellows."
