Members of the Rotary Club of Otley Chevin were supported by the 2nd Otley Scouts and their families to plant hundreds of new trees on Otley Chevin on Saturday, November 16.
About 420 trees, awarded as part of a conservation project by the Woodland Trust that the club had applied to, were installed on the day.
Environmental officer Bryan Kitching said: “We were pleased when the Scouts, including leaders, parents and families, came and helped us.
“The young ones hopefully will see the fruition of their labours. A very good day was had by all.”
The club was recently presented with a Rotary District 1040 Silver Award for its environmental improvement projects.
