Youngsters took over the running of an art gallery yesterday.
Pupils at Whetley Academy in Girlington, Bradford, yesterday helped run Cartwright Hall as part of a national initiative called Takeover Day: Kids In Museums.
Cartwright Hall’s manager, Janet Simmonds, said: “They were handling museum objects and they were looking at the kinds of pests that we have in museums that we have to collect in our pest traps, like moths and little beetles.
“They were also pricing up things in the shop and answering the phone to enquiries. They were just great, and very enthusiastic and we are going to put up a display at Cartwright Hall on the kinds of things they have been doing.”
