Youngsters were today invited to join an official event to celebrate the opening of a new combined Co-op and post office.
The revamped premises in Station Road, Oxenhope, were re-launched following £290,000 worth of investment.
Pupils from Oxenhope Primary School cut the opening ribbon and were given goody bags to take home.
Commenting on the facility, store manager Kiran Bains said: “I adore it - it’s fantastic.
" It is great that postal services can be provided in Oxenhope again. I encourage people to come down and take a look.”
She said the store was closed for eight days while the changes and improvements were carried out.
The premises are now offering all mail transactions, home shopping returns, and online banking cash deposits and withdrawals.
Customers can top up mobiles phones, pay bills, pre-order foreign currency and access a range of government services.
The Post Office Local facility is available throughout store opening hours, which are 7am to 10pm each day.
