Get into the festive spirit – with a twist – when a new Sixties show comes to town.
The Twist Christmas Show Special stars Strictly Come Dancing lead vocalist Chris Madin, West End star Suzi Madin and award-winning Elvis impersonator Paul Molloy.
The Twisters band will take the audience through magical Christmas songs from the era of all-American diners and rock ’n’ roll.
Compére Big Tony Tremendo delivers a show packed full of tributes, with a score that includes Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Elvis’ Blue Christmas and Ella Fitzgerald’s It’s Cold Outside.
The show’s head of music, Chris Madin, has overseen the selection of 50s and 60s festive hits featured in the show, and he also performs as Buddy Holly. West End star Suzi Madin plays Connie Francis, Sandy Shaw, Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield.
* The Twist – The Christmas Show Special is at St George’s Hall on Friday, December 13. For tickets ring (01274) 432000.
