A man has been charged with importing class A drugs after being arrested at Leeds Bradford Airport last night.
Syed Shah, a 31 year-old Pakistani national, will now appear at Leeds Magistrates Court later today.
He was arrested by Border Force officials for attempting to smuggle heroin into the UK after arriving on a Pakistan International Airlines flight from Islamabad.
Shah is understood to have been a member of cabin crew on the flight.
