The owner of a Bradford takeaway has appeared in court charged with breaching food hygiene safety regulations.
Mohammed Rashid, who runs Fresh Fillingz on Duckworth Lane, faces ten charges brought by Bradford Council.
Harjit Ryatt, prosecuting on behalf of the council, said the charges relate to findings made during an inspection of the property on January 23.
The council stated that the shop had inadequate washing facilities, food storage problems, and contamination issues, including a colander of raw chicken being left in a sink above cleaning sponges.
Mr Rashid, 46, of Toller Drive, Heaton, pleaded not guilty to all charges and stated he had complied with all notices served against him.
The case was adjourned for trial on February 12 next year.
