Behind Closed Doors will begin a two-week programme of awareness raising and advice sessions in Otley next week.
The local domestic abuse charity has teamed up with the Town Council to hold the activities at the Otley Core Resource Centre from Monday, November 25, to Friday, December 6.
The initiative is in support of the 16 Days of Action movement, a long-running international campaign aimed at highlighting the link between violence against women and human rights.
Behind Closed Doors will kick off proceedings at 10.30am on November 25 with a coffee morning and representatives from the group will be on hand between 10am and noon each day to explain more about their work and help anyone who needs advice or support.
For more details see the 16 Days of Action programme on display at the Core, drop in to Monday’s coffee morning or visit behind-closed-doors.org.uk.
