Photographs of creatures in Bradford Council’s Natural Sciences Collection will go on display at Manor House Museum in Ilkley.
Bradford Museums and Galleries’ artist-in-residence, Liza Dracup, was given access to the collections, under the supervision of the Curator, and her new body of work focuses on British wildlife specimens from the 19th Century to the present.
The Re: Collections exhibition will be displayed in Manor House Museum from Saturday, December 14 until Sunday, March 2.
The Bradford-born photographer’s work represents a variety of familiar British animals, from a mouse to thered kite, and it invites people to observe wildlife that can be un-noticed.
The exhibition is supported by Bradford Museums & Galleries, Arts Council England, the National Media Museum and Bradford School of Arts and Media.
