Bradford Festival Choral Society put on a performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria and Bach’s Magnificat to a packed house at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday.
They were accompanied by the Skipton Camerata Orchestra and a team of soloists, then the second half of the concert was opened by the young voices of Bradford Catholic Girls’ Choir singing Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
The Girls’ Choir were planning a collection for their 2014 trip to the World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia, but decided to share the proceeds with the Red Cross appeal for those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.
