Schoolchildren will get to take over an art gallery for the day later this week.
Pupils at Whetley Academy in Girlington, Bradford, will be helping to run Cartwright Hall Art Gallery on Friday as part of a national initiative called Takeover Day: Kids In Museums.
Children aged nine and ten will be involved in all aspects of running the Bradford Council-owned venue.
This includes stocking the shop, creating a family trail, looking after the collections and searching for pests.
It is the third year Bradford Museums and Galleries has invited a school to participate in Takeover Day.
Cartwright Hall manager Janet Simmonds said: “We are very much looking forward to the day. I’m excited to see how a local primary school can begin to understand all the different kinds of jobs that go on inside Cartwright Hall Art Gallery.”
