New Orleans jazz is coming to Undercliffe Cricket Club, Bradford, tomorrow night.
The Ed O’Donnell Jazz Band, whose leader has been playing in the Bradford and Leeds area for more than 60 years, is the first guests on what is a trial evening.
Ed was a member of the well-known Ken Collier Band in the 1950s, and joining him tomorrow from 8.30pm to 11pm are Arthur Stead on trumpet, Annie Hawkins slap bass, Tony Denton clarinet and Barry Wood drums.
The club holds modern and swing jazz sessions on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
