Traffic calming measures are being installed on a busy road in Pudsey thanks to a campaign by local councillors.
Mick Coulson, Richard Lewis and Josie Jarosz, all Labour councillors for the town, supported the installation of eight speed bumps along Swinnow Road, between Lane End and Wellstone Avenue. The new measures were requested by concerned local residents, as the area is near to primary schools and popular with families.
Councillor Coulson said: “The community can feel much safer.”
