An Italian restaurant chain has launched its ‘Big Drive’ campaign, hoping to raise £5,000 for a children’s charity.
Pesto, which has a branch on Prune Park Lane outside Wilsden, is supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, which arranges special experiences for children facing life-threatening conditions.
Neil Gatt, Pesto co-owner and long-time motor sport fan, said: “We have already received huge support from our suppliers and partners for our ‘Big Drive’, and their generosity has meant we have raised more than £1,500 in just seven days.
“The whole team is now gearing up to raise even more.”
The campaign has been named ‘Big Drive’ after receiving support from multiple British rally champion Mark Higgins.
