Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy from Bradford was slashed in the stomach.
The teenager was taken to Leeds General Infirmary following the incident, in Bradford Road, Drighlington.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 9pm on Bonfire Night. The incident is thought to be linked to a bonfire celebration.
The victim has since been discharged from hospital.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a 15-year-old youth from Leeds had been arrested in connection with the incident but had been released without charge.
The spokesman said: “The investigation is ongoing and we are appealing for information.” Anyone with information is asked to ring 101.
