Bradford will get a festive feeling later this month when Father Christmas and six reindeer pay a visit.
The city’s annual reindeer parade, which will include two baby reindeer, is on Sunday, November 17, from 10am.
The parade starts at the Kirkgate shopping centre’s loading bay and will be led by the West Yorkshire Fire Brigade Band, along Sunbridge Road to City Park.
Santa’s sleigh will then return to the Kirkgate Centre where he will take up residence in his grotto until Christmas Eve.
There will also be a chance to get a close-up look at the reindeer in their pen on Kirkgate for an hour after the parade.
Bradford’s Christmas lights switch-on is on Saturday, November 16, in City Park starting at noon with street theatre and the lights switch-on at 5pm will be accompanied by an acrobatics-and-rock extravaganza.
