Feed your mind at a new series of lunchtime talks at Bradford’s Impressions Gallery.
On Thursday, November 14, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, Peter Nias, Honorary Fellow of the Peace Studies department at the University of Bradford, will lead a discussion about the Home Front from a non-conflict perspective.
The talk is linked to an exhibition at the gallery called The Home Front by photographer Melanie Friend.
Running until November 23, it’s a set of three related photographic series exploring the civilian experience of war, with a focus on public air shows at Royal Air Force bases, and in the skies above seaside resorts.
After the talk by Peter Nias, there’s a chance to continue the conversation in Forsters Bistro and Deli, which is offering 10 per cent off eat-in meal vouchers for those attending Feed Your Mind events.
