Glenn Tilbrook is bringing his acoustic tour to Bingley Arts Centre.
The Squeeze vocalist will be showcasing material from his new album, Happy Ending, due for release in January, 2014.
It’s the first time Glenn has toured solo in four years. His new album is described as “stripped back and beautifully layered” with a different feel to anything he has released before.
His career with Squeeze and on his own has spanned 30 years, spawning hits such as Cool For Cats, Tempted and Up The Junction. With his two solo albums, The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook and Transatlantic Ping-Pong, he showed he’s lost none of the joie-de-vivre that became Squeeze’s trademark.
Glenn has been busy in recent years, returning to Squeeze in 2010 with Spot The Difference, a collection of 14 of their best-loved hits, re-recorded by the band.
* Glen Tilbrook is at Bingley Arts Centre on Wednesday, December 11. For tickets, ring (01274) 567983.
