Cleckheaton is gearing up for some festive fun.
The annual Christmas lights switch-on celebrations run from 9am until 9pm on Saturday, November 16, and include a Christmas market for shoppers to glean some festive gift ideas.
A funfair starts at 2pm around the same time Father Christmas takes his seat in his Grotto listening to youngsters’ festive requests before taking part in the official switch-on at 6pm.
There will be the traditional parade through the town from 5.45pm along with live entertainment on the Savoy Square at 3pm and live music from 6.30pm.
