The Lord Speaker, Baroness D’Souza, will talk about the role of women in politics when she comes to Bradford.
Her visit to City Training Services in Bradford city centre is part of a programme to increase public awareness of the House of Lords. It comes as part of Parliament Week 2013.
Other speakers on Friday November 15 will include Paralympian and crossbench peer Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and Ann Cryer, former MP for Keighley.
It is free and open to all. It runs from 10am to noon, with registration at 9.30am.
